About The Role

You are responsible for contributing in a team environment developing, maintaining, and testing our applications across multiple cloud based services. At Open, we are looking for a Staff Backend Engineer who thrives in both analytical and engineering environments. The main focus of this role is to extend and maintain the backend platform for our iOS and web clients. You will collaborate closely with front-end engineers to deliver features for our consumer-facing apps, ensuring seamless integration and performance.


•Lead efforts to turn existing data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions.
•Experience architecting and implementing solutions with Firebase, Node, and Cloud Functions
•Collaborate with the backend team to enhance data tracking and transformation efforts using advanced Javascript/Typescript
